- a big THANK YOU to the HRCNJ & Sussex Fairgrounds staff for all of their help!
Certainly an interesting day, it started with the truck overheating *just* as we pulled into the fairgrounds. Thanks to the help of some very nice people, the trailer was moved and the show went on! Despite a western pleasure judge, everyone did great, it was Emjay's first attendance, and she shcooled very well, although we opted to let Spinner take center stage. In a great appearance, he looked and moved amazingly (despite a recent abscess) and took 6th in a class. Kelly and Juan performed outstandingly well also, and Kim (for her first show in years) also took a 6th - in the jumping class she didn't want to do! There's talk of also adding some flat classes for Eq - yes without patterns - as well as possibly an English judge in the near future, so tell people about these shows!!!! Congrats to all on a great day, and enjoy the pictures! And WOW do you all make some great faces - Kelly wins for best smile! (And I couldn't resist snapping a few shots of my favorite reiner - a picture perfect QH.) Enjoy!
