About the Owners
Head Trainer CJ Millar has a B.S. in Equestrian Studies from Centenary College and was the Training Award Recepient. She has over 27 years of riding experience and over a decade of training experience including hunters/jumpers, dressage, eventing, racehorse training, and western rodeo events. She has started horses under saddle, trained horses to drive, has experience as a barn manager and course designer. With extensive hoof trimming experience and endorsed by multiple farriers, CJ also handles all of the regular farrier trims for the horses at the farm. She is also a member of the USEF and ARIA.
Manager Terry Figueroa has over 40 years experience working with and handling horses. Her experience includes rehabilitation of rescues, extensive nutritional and breeding knowledge, and years of ground training. Her knowledge of horses translates to the best care in the area for your horse. Terry also runs a supplement business called EquiSupps. *Please note we have added a new offering of Beginner & Introductory lessons. The evaluation lesson is $45 for 45 minutes and includes time on the ground and in the saddle to allow our trainers to get to know you better and find the right horse & trainer combinations to make the most of your lessons. Beginner lesson packages are $150/mo for a three month subscription and include time learning on the ground as well as in the saddle on everything from grooming, basic care, tacking up, and riding. |
